Letter to the President of the United States

April 1, 2020

President Donald Trump

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Ave. NW

Washington, DC 20500

Re: “Cash-4-Trash Program” is Social Distancing compliant and favored by NC businesses

Dear President Donald Trump,

As the President of the United States and particularly a businessman, I believe you will be interested in our “Cash4-Trash Program” because it provides an opportunity for those wishing to “EARN” their funding a way to do so by picking up litter in their community.

The “Cash -4-Trash Program” teaches our youth and others life-long marketing, sales, and service skills which will result in a monetary reward.

Cherokee and Clay County, NC businesses favor the “Cash-4-Trash Program” because it allows them to support the funding needs of those seeking funding and willing to “EARN” their funding.

Our “Cash -4-Trash Program” allows those seeking funding to “EARN” $100 by filling ten 33-gallon bags with litter, answering seven questions and writing a thank you letter to those providing the $100 funding.

Those who learn to earn their funding have an extreme advantage over those who almost demand and expect a donation for their cause.

We must reverse this attitude of entitlement.

The North Carolina Litter-Free Coalition and it’s “Cash-4-Trash Program” have received much praise and attention from local, state and national newspapers, radio stations and television organizations.

As of March 31, 2020, we have paid out $1,100 in 2020. In 2019, we only paid out $600 to individuals wishing to “EARN” their funding. In March 2020 we received over $600 in funding pledges for the “Cash -4-Trash Program”. Since our “Cash -4-Trash Program” and anti-litter reward program started in 2018, we have received pledges over $4000 to support our efforts. Some of these benefits have been paid out to some of our local schools that are partnering in our North Carolina Litter-Free Coalition efforts.

Though we have received four letters from your office, we would like you and or your representatives to seriously consider inviting us to the White House to reveal our program to other cities, towns and states.

I have met North Carolina Congressman Mark Meadows and he will be a great asset to your efforts to Make America Great Again.

Respectfully,

Gary Chamberlain-Spokesman
