McCaysville declares State of Emergency

Effective Wednesday March 25, 2020 ~ 9 p.m.

Blue Ridge Mtns News has obtained a copy of the Emergency Ordinance unanimously passed by the City Council today after a Special Called Video conference hosted by City Attorney Courtney Stuart.

Shown below are pictures of the ordinance outlining the Emergency Order.

Council members gave City Clerk Nancy Godfrey permission to sign their names to the ordinance - others would drive to City Hall and sign the document via the Pay Window.

The gray-shaded areas shown in the pictures were items added to the ordinance.
