The North Carolina Litter-Free Coalition has invited all of anti-litter groups and individuals to meet at the Downtown Pizza Co. in Murphy on November 13, 2019 at 6 pm.

The Downtown Pizza Co. is located at 52 Hiawassee St. Murphy, NC, (828) 837-0500.

There is a $7 per person charge for the pizza buffet which includes a beverage. Pay the $7 at the cash register and mention that you are part of this Community Pride Event to receive the discounted $7 price.

The Guest Speaker will be Pastor Mike Crowe-Mountain View Church who will speak on how our Cherokee County anti-litter efforts “Honor God and His Creation”.

There will be several other speakers who will mention what they are doing, why they are doing it, who benefits from their efforts and why they want others to join them in their anti-litter efforts. These speakers include business owners, community leaders, educators, etc.

Over $1,000 in raffle prizes donated by local businesses consisting of two cash prizes will be raffled off.

Those who did not RSVP and wishing to attend this event are encouraged to contact the North Carolina Litter-Free Coalition, seating is limited.
